Newcastle Disease Ag Rapid Detection Card (colloidal gold method)

Newcastle disease, also known as fake chicken fever or Asian chicken fever, is an acute and highly contagious poultry disease caused by the Newcastle disease virus (NDV). Bleeding is a characteristic.

This reagent is used to detect Newcastle disease virus antigen in poultry serum and can be used for immune efficacy evaluation and auxiliary diagnosis.

[Principle]
This reagent was prepared based on the principle of competitive colloidal gold immunochromatography (GICA). After adding the sample to the sample well, it moves along the chromatographic membrane with NDV antigen and colloidal gold markers. This marker competes with the antigen of Newcastle disease virus, so the detection line will not display a purple red color. If there is no Newcastle disease virus antibody in the sample, a color reaction will occur.

experiment method

1. Tear off the aluminum foil packaging bag of the test card, remove

the test card, and place it on a flat, clean table.
2. Aspirate the prepared supernatant of the clarified sample with the
matching pipette, and drop 2-3 drops (about 60ul) vertically and
slowly into the sample well.
3. Leave the test at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to judge the
result, and the result over 30 minutes is invalid.

Result judgment
1. Negative: In the observation hole, only a purple line appears in the control line area (C).
2. Positive: In the observation hole, a purple line appears in both the test line area (T) and the control line area (C).
3. Invalid: In the observation hole, no purple line appears in the control line area (C).
(Note: Deionized water, tap water, and saline cannot be used as negative controls.)

Interpretation of test results
 1. The negative result of the experiment indicates that there is no Newcastle disease virus antigen in the tested sample. If the corresponding acute symptoms appear, the Newcastle disease virus infection cannot be ruled out.
2. The positive result of the experiment indicates that there is Newcastle disease virus antigen in the tested sample, which may be the infection of Newcastle disease virus, which needs to be analyzed in combination with clinical and other methods.

3. When the test card is taken out of the refrigerator, it should be returned to room temperature and then opened. The opened test card should be used as soon as possible to avoid failure after moisture.
4. Deionized water, tap water, and saline cannot be used as negative controls.
5. Avoid contact with the chromatographic membrane on the sample card's loading hole and test window.
6. The waste from the test should be regarded as a pollutant and properly disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
